Nada Siljanovic-Donati is a journalist and literary translator. She was born in Belgrade, Serbia, but educated in Belgrade (The University of Belgrade, Comparative Literature, Italian and English Languages, 1973); UK (Pulteney College of London, English For Foreigners, 1970; Westminster University, London, Special Course for Journalists: News and Feature Writing, 1993), and Italy (Universita Italiana per Stranieri, Perugia, Italian Language, 1976).
Her experience in journalism extends over 35 years, working as a journalist, editor, editor-in-chief, and columnist in a variety of media – broadcast, print, and online.
A great part of her journalistic career was spent working as a freelance reporter for the TV Beograd and the RTS (Serbian Broadcasting Corporation), where she covered arts and culture in general. She also worked as a scriptwriter and journalist for the TV Novi Sad and the TV Sarajevo (BiH).
At the same time, she was a regular contributor to the major ex-Yu newspapers and magazines: Nedeljna borba, Danas (Croatian edition), Politika, etc.
Furthermore, from 1989-1995, she was a contributing writer from London, UK, to the major Belgrade weeklies - NIN, Eterna, Dnevni telegraf.
She also acquired a broad experience in international environment working for British, American, and Iranian media companies.
In 1999, she worked in Cyprus as a journalist/translator for Limassol-based American online daily, the NewsLink, where she covered political news and translated many articles from Croatian into English.
Back in Belgrade, in 2003 she worked for a while for the Executive Newsletter, compiling and translating political and business news from Serbian into English.
In 2004, she joined Belgrade-based IRNA news agency. During this engagement, which lasted for four years, she served as Serbian website Editor-In-Chief.
In 2008, she launched her own business, The Journalism and Translation Workshop www.npradionica.com
She is a regular contributing writer to the major Serbian dailies and weeklies, writing in both, Serbian and English. Also, she was a columnist for the Belgrade-based magazine in English, White City.
Furthermore, she is the author of the first English-Serbian Media Glossary, Albatros Plus, 2011.

Nada Donati is a member of the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia (NUNS), the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), and the Association of Literary Translators of Serbia.
