"Hello. I'm Warsaw correspondent for the British newspaper the Daily Telegraph. Was wondering what goes on here. Do people ever meet for a drink as I think it would be good to share experience and chat over a beer?"

As a Glaswegian boy myself, its nice to see the Scotsman here with us. I am David Quin of the Thomson Foundation, as in the media development NGO set up by Lord Roy Thomson. We run the ENJN project for the EC. Matt, to answer your question re Central Europe. ENJN is designed for the 16 states covered by the European Neighbourhood Policy. As such we bring reporters from one part the EU's neighbourhood to another. For instance we just took a group of Russian, Ukrianian, Belarusian and Moldovan reporters to Algeria for a week long field visit looking into gas politics. In each session, so far there have been 13, teams are helped write up and film stories for their own use on relevant topics. So Central Europe doesn't feature in the program as its not in the ENP area.

My best
