Dear all,
My name is Nicholas Clayton and I am the senior editor of Kanal PIK's English service, and I am writing you to invite you to join our community of web contributors.

Kanal PIK is a Russian-language channel based in Tbilisi, Georgia aiming to provide an alternative source of information for Russian-speaking audiences across the former Soviet space and the world. In particular, the channel seeks to provide objective journalism, independent commentary and citizen reporting on the former Soviet Union and surrounding region to its residents and the world.

Furthermore, our bilingual web portal aims to provide space for users to interactively engage themselves in information sharing by submitting their own "PIK reports" -- some of which are broadcast on our airwaves as well. In addition, we are currently seeking to cultivate a community of experts on the region who will help both our English and Russian-language audience understand the economic and geo-political realities of the former Soviet space without the filtering of pro-government editorialism.

While the English website is young -- we launched in June -- the contributions from our experts and bloggers have been among the most popular content on the site. If any of you out there are interested in getting involved, I believe we can mutually benefit by bringing your work to a new audience. You would be welcome to cross post columns and content on PIK directly from your other blogs and pages.

Please let me know if you would be interested.

Sincerely,
Nicholas Clayton

Dear colleagues from Georgia,

Please, can you find out for me the following information from the Ministry of Economy concerning the number of Armenian companies, registered in Georgia, in the course of 2010?

My "productive" cooperation with Tea Bolkvadze is already making me angry because she never answers her cell phone and does not reply the email messages. Please, help me as soon as possible during this day...

Thanks in advance...

How did you rate the sources provided in Cyprus? 5

How did you rate the Thomson Foundation Trainiers? 5

How did you rate the logistics (visa's, flights, hotel etc) 5

Did you get better access to EU sources? 5

Are you better able to cover conflict stories as a result of your week? 5
