Hi all, Hope you all had a great Eid, & seasons' greetings from London!
As this is a French language group, are you all OK to understand the timetable in English so far? I know many have good English, but maybe not all - we can translate into French if you need it, I'm sure. Hope it all goes well, & you enjoy meeting each other again, and welcoming new colleagues. It looks an excellent programme - thanks to much help from Ron, Ron thank you so much!

لا بأس اذا وضعنا الاحتفاء بما فعله الزميل منتظر الزيدي، جانبا. »فشة الخلق« هذه كافية ولا بد من التحرك الآن لإنقاذ الشاب »المنتظر«.
الحاجة هذه ملحة ليس فقط بسبب السطوة الشهيرة لرجال الامن الأشاوس، ولا بسبب »النزاهة« الذائعة الصيت لرجال القضاء الذين شاهدنا بعض مآثرهم خلال محاكمات رموز النظام السابق وهم يكيلون الشتائم ويطلقون التهديدات ضد »المتهمين« قبل ان تأخذ العدالة مجراها، على مرأى ومسمع من العالم.
الحاجة الآن هي للعمل على حمايته كواجب أخلاقي وإنساني، وهو يساق الى غياهب السجون العراقية، من خلال توكيد مصداقية المواقف التضامنية التي شبت كالنار في الهشيم، بتحويلها الى فعل ملموس ينتشله أولا وأخيرا من براثن زمرة المستشارين والإعلاميين المحيطين برئيس الحكومة العراقية، الذين كعادتهم، يمضون حياة انفصال عن الواقع.
فهؤلاء يعتبرون أن الحذاء لم يمسهم والمسألة برمتها مشكوك في دوافعها، وشأن يعني الأمن أولا ثم السلطات القضائية، في حين ان »جريمة« الحذاء تفضح في ما تفضح، الكثير من التضليل الممارس في أروقة الحكم في »المنطقة الخضراء«، او في »بغداد المحتلة«، كما يحب ان يصفها الزميل الزيدي.
ليس مهماً نوع الحذاء ولا سعره ولا من أي متجر اشتراه. مظاهر المبالغة في التبجيل لا ضرورة لها بعد الآن.
الرسالة الأصلية وصلت إلى من يهمه الأمر، بمن في ذلك »ضحية« هذه الجريمة، الرئيس الأميركي جورج بوش، بما مثلته رمزيا حول حقيقة ساطعة يجري إغفالها بأن الغزاة ظالمون، مهما زينوا أفعالهم، خاصة عبر هؤلاء المستشارين، وأن العراقيين أناس »طبيعيون«، أفرحهم في زمن ما سقوط نظام ظالم، لكن ذلك يجب الا يعني انهم صاروا عشاقا للاحتلال، مهما طبل الطبالون في جوقة المتعاقبين على الحكم في بغداد.
قلقنا، إذا كان هناك من قلق، يجب ان يتحرك لمساعدة الزيدي الذي بعدما رمى حذاءه، احتفلنا، فيما ركلته نعال كثيرة امام عيوننا جميعا، ولم نأبه.

We anticipate Khalil that most of the speakers will be doing so in English, so if you are happy to stay in your team, then good. Yes we will have translation, but largely from English into French.

Hi Ron and David, hope all well with you.. im sure Holland will be a great experience, and what i understood is that there will be english speaking guests, and some translation. am i right ?. if so, i will be fine.. after all, i somehow survived in the french workshop in Bierut !!.
